Arsenal’s squad depart for their pre-season trip to Australia on Sunday, which means that the Gunners face a race against time if they’re going to have their move for Lacazette fully completed in time.
The 26-year-old is reportedly in London today (Tuesday) for his medical ahead of finalising the £52m deal, with an announcement allegedly set to take place over the next couple of days.
The France international will be a record-breaking transfer for Arsenal so the fans are unlikely to care whether he makes it to Sydney or not. However, it would be beneficial for him and the rest of the squad if he could experience some team bonding down under…
So to speak.
