The 26-year-old has been a transfer target of Arsenal’s for many years but looks to be finally signing for the Gunners for a club record fee this summer.
After surpassing 20 league goals in each of his last three seasons, supporters are confident he could be the missing piece in puzzle for Arsenal to challenge on all fronts again.
Manager Arsene Wenger worked hard in convincing the striker to pick Arsenal over a host of other clubs promising Champions League football and the formalities of the transfer should be concluded today.
Lacazette’s deal is expected to be official announced either later today or on Wednesday after his medical. It’s unknown what shirt number he will pick, given #10 was occupied by Jack Wilshere and #9 by Lucas Perez – the pair who could be leaving this summer, however.
Now the French international is allegedly in London, the deal should be complete within 48 hours.
