Young midfielder Glen Kamara has joined Dundee FC in a permanent deal.
- Kamara made just one first team appearance for Arsenal
- He’s the latest young player to leave the club this summer
- He has signed a two-year deal in Scotland
The Finnish midfielder joined Arsenal’s academy from Southend back in 2012, and made one first team appearance for the club.
Arsenal have confirmed that Kamara will be joining Scottish side Dundee FC on a permanent basis. They also issued their standard “We would like to thank Glen for his contribution to the club, and wish him well for the future” statement.
Kamara has represented Finland at youth level and had two short-term loan deals at Southend United and Colchester United.
His one first team appearance for Arsenal came in the 3-0 defeat to Sheffield Wednesday in the League Cup back in October 2015.
Kamara is the latest young player to leave Arsenal this summer.
Chris Willock, Kaylen Hinds, and Daniel Crowley have already joined Benfica, Wolfsburg and Willem II respectively.
More youth departures are expected, as players leave for more first team opportunities else where.
