A number of Football League clubs are interested in taking Arsenal youth striker Stephy Mavididi on loan for the season.

  • Mavididi was prolific in Arsenal’s youth teams before being loaned to Charlton
  • An injury cut his loan short
  • He will go out on loan for the season ahead

The 19-year-old has been prolific in Arsenal’s youth teams and was duly sent on loan to Charlton Athletic towards the end of last season.

However, an injury cut the loan short before Mavididi could really get going.

He’s now expected to go loan again, with no shortage of Championship and League 1 clubs interested in him.

Arsenal have a decent relationship with Bolton, having sent young players there in the past. They were promoted from League 1 last season.

Wigan and Blackburn were recently relegated from the Championship and would be expected to go straight back up. The expectations at those clubs would be a unique environment for Mavididi.

Millwall would be an interesting choice due to their vociferous fanbase. As with Bolton, they were also recently promoted.
