Everton have gotten well and truly involved in the transfer market this summer and now that they’ve secured the signing of former Toffee Rooney on a free transfer, they’re set to turn their attention to Giroud.

Everton have reportedly been interested in the striker since last week and are prepared to spend £20m on the 30-year-old, and while Arsenal are said to be holding out for £30m, they’re apparently also willing to listen to offers.
Although the Toffees were previously said to be confident that they could convince Giroud to sign for them due to their ‘ambitious project’, recent comments from the big guy suggest that he could be willing to stay and fight for a place at Arsenal after all.
Considering he only signed a new deal in north London at the beginning of 2017 and has two years left on his current contract, the Gunners won’t be in any hurry to make any rash decisions.
