Celtic striker Moussa Dembele has held talks with Marseille, according to latest reports.

Sky Sports claim Dembele is a target for the French club and is valued at £20m. He scored 32 goals in 48 appearances in his first season at Celtic and has since been linked with Arsenal among other clubs.

The Gunners have just recently signed Alexandre Lacazette for a club record fee and currently have Olivier Giroud, Danny Welbeck, Theo Walcott, Alexis Sanchez and Lucas Perez as attacking options.

This is in addition to young strikers currently getting some first-team action in pre-season, Eddie Nketiah and Donyell Malen.

Arsenal might not be the best move for Dembele as a result, and Marseille may be the striker’s preferred destination in hiis pursuit for regular playing time with a bigger club.

If players such Lucas, Walcott and even Alexis did end up leaving the club this summer, the situation would change. But for now an Arsenal move doesn’t seem likely.
