Arsenal’s Josh Dasilva was an unused substitute as England u19s got their Euros underway with a 2-0 win over Bulgaria.

Goals from Mason Mount and Ryan Sessegnon ensured that the Young Lions kicked off with a win. They took the lead in the first minute (39 seconds), sealing the win with just 49 minutes on the clock.

The win will come as a welcome boost for England in Group B, knowing that their next games will be against the Netherlands and Germany.

England play their Dutch counterparts on Thursday in the Mikheil Meskhi Stadioni, Tblisi, before facing Germany on Sunday in the David Petriashvili Stadium in the same city.

The tournament concludes on 15 July with the final being played in the Mikheil Meskhi Stadioni.
