Paris Saint-Germain are trying to beat Manchester City to Dani Alves’s signature, which could lead the Sky Blues to target Bellerin again.

TalkSPORT claims that PSG are trying to take advantage of the delay in any deal being done between Alves and City by luring him to the French capital.

After a decent season at the age of 34, Dani Alves is still showing no signs of slowing down, despite announcing that he would leave Juventus at the end of the 2016/17 campaign.

This announcement immediately drew links to City, who have released ex-Gunner Bacary Sagna and Pablo Zabaleta this summer, as well as makeshift right-back Jesus Navas.

But with PSG now looking to complete a move for the Brazilian, City’s attention could potentially turn to Hector Bellerín. Linked with City early last season, Bellerín responded to the rumours by signing a new six-and-a-half-year deal. We’re only half a year into that contract.

City can turn their attention to Hector however many times they want, but there’s no reason for Arsenal to sell, especially to a domestic rival.
