Chelsea have reportedly been offered Borussia Dortmund’s Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang for £65m.

  • Nobody seems to want Aubameyang
  • Chelsea could soon need a striker if Diego Costa leaves

With several strikers having made big money moves or being mooted to do so, the lack of interest in Aubameyang has been surprising. The Gabon striker is one of the most prolific forwards in Europe, but has only had serious interest from China so far.

That could change, as The Sun claim he’s been offered to Chelsea for £65m. Chelsea could be in need of a centre forward should Diego Costa depart. The Spanish striker has been granted permission to miss pre-season training so he can finalise a move to Atletico Madrid.

Aubameyang was one of the many strikers linked with Arsenal before the signing of Alexandre Lacazette. Seeing Chelsea’s struggles with strikers this summer, Lacazette is looking more and more like a great signing.
