Barcelona see Aaron Ramsey as an alternative should they not be able to sign PSG’s Marco Verratti.

  • Barcelona are rumoured to be looking at Ramsey
  • They had interest last year
  • Arsenal could ask for £70m for the Welshman

The Catalan’s pursuit of Marco Verratti isn’t going too well, with the Italian recently backtracking on his desire to leave PSG. There are now rumours that Barcelona could turn to Ramsey.

Barcelona had an interest in Ramsey last summer and were reportedly prepared to bid £50m for him. Ramsey has also said in previous interviews that he could see himself playing in Spain one day.

Arsenal are believed to be asking for £70m for the Welshman, who scored the winning goal in last season’s FA Cup final against Chelsea, but this could well be fake news given the Spaniards have their sights on bigger targets.

While the Arsenal fans are often divided on Ramsey, Arsenal rate him very highly and see him as a key component of their midfield.
