Atletico Madrid are interested in Monaco midfielder Fabinho, who has been linked with Arsenal and Manchester United.

  • Atletico are said to be negotiating with Monaco
  • Arsenal have been linked with the Brazilian midfielder

Despite having a transfer ban, the Spanish side continue to be active in the market. And according to reports, their latest target is Monaco’s Brazilian midfielder Fabinho.

Fabinho has been heavily linked with several clubs, including Arsenal and Manchester United. The midfielder is one of several Monaco players to be linked away after a good season with the club.

While the link to Arsenal isn’t as strong, Arsenal could be looking at strengthening their midfield this summer due to Santi Cazorla’s injury struggles. If they do have an interest in Fabinho, they won’t be put off by Atletico’s presence.

Alexandre Lacazette was set to join Atletico, but the transfer ban enabled Arsenal to come in with a late bid and sign him.
