Arsenal took to Twitter to thank all the fans Down Under who turned out in huge numbers during their short tour of Sydney.

Tweeting after the Gunners won their second pre-season game, a 3-1 result over Western Sydney Warriors which they probably should have won by far more (we still haven’t managed to sell W. Work yet), Arsenal showed a video of the Arsenal players holding a banner thanking fans and waving to supporters.

Both games at the AMZ Stadium were sell-outs of 80,000+ while more than 20,000 turned up for the open training session and fan party.

The match against WSW was attended by 83,221 fans, setting a new Arsenal pre-season record.
