Arsenal are willing to pay Thomas Lemar £100k-per-week if he signs for them, potentially taking their summer spending over the £100m mark.

  • Arsenal will offer the 21-year-old a five year contract worth £100k per week
  • They believe that Lemar wants to join this summer

Lemar is currently Arsenal’s number one target and they are hoping they can get a deal completed this summer.

While Monaco are proving to be stubborn over their asking price, Arsenal believe the French international wants to make the move.

According to The Sun, Arsenal will offer him a five year contract worth £100k-per-week. The offer would significantly increase his current wages at Monaco.

The biggest obstacle for Arsenal currently is negotiating a transfer fee with Monaco.

Arsenal have had two bids rejected already and are hoping that a third bid of around £45m will be enough to convince the Ligue 1 champions to sell.

Having spent close to £50m for Alexandre Lacazette from Lyon, the Gunners might have to take their summer spending over £100m to secure Lemar’s signature.

The latter was one of Monaco star performers last season, providing 14 goals and 17 assists in all competitions.
