Arsenal have been linked with a move for Barcelona midfielder Andre Gomes.

Not for the first time this summer, we’ve been linked with one of Barcelona’s unwanted players. First it was Arda Turan, then it was Denis Suarez and Rafinha, and now, according to latest reports from Spain, it’s Andre Gomes.
Gomes had a poor first season at Barcelona after his £44m move from Valencia and is reportedly already on the chopping block. While Arsenal’s name has been brought up, the actual report seems to just toss it in there rather than make a serious link.
The Catalans are said to be looking for £30m for the Portugal international. Although Barcelona have signed a number of duds from Arsenal over the years, the Gunners have been pretty smart about which players they sign from the Spaniards.
That means no matter how hard they try, Arsenal will not be interested in signing their midfield castaways.
