Arsenal are interested in Bayer Leverkusen winger Karim Bellarabi as a potential replacement for Liverpool-bound Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.
- Arsenal could sign Bellarabi to replace Oxlade-Chamberlain
- Everton are also interested
- Leverkusen want at least £22m
The German international has been one of Leverkusen’s standout performers in recent seasons and is attracting interest from Arsenal and Everton, according to Bild.
Leverkusen are believed to be willing to let the right-winger go should they receive a bid between £22m and £26.5m this summer.
The 27-year-old was quite at the peak of of his powers last season, making just 16 Bundesliga appearances in 2016/17, scoring two goals and making six assists.
It’s hard to see Bellarabi being a top target given Arsenal’s interest in Monaco’s Thomas Lemar and Leicester’s Riyad Mahrez.
It’s more likely the Gunners will only consider him should they not be able to secure the aforemtioned duo, or as a replacement for Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, who looks set to join Liverpool.
