Inter Milan have yet to meet the release clause of Nice left-back Dalbert Henrique, a player Arsenal have also been linked with this summer.

  • The Nice left back has a £26.5m release clause
  • Inter’s offer said to be some ways short of that
  • Arsenal still have a chance to sign him

Dalbert have been a target for Inter Milan all summer and the Italian club have been assured that the left back wants join them despite interest from else where.

Italian journalist Gianluca di Marzio claimed that Arsenal were considering making a “big offer” for the Brazilian. Liverpool are also said to be interested.

While Dalbert is believed to not want to move to London, Arsenal may still have a chance as Inter have yet to agree a fee with Nice.

According to the Daily Star, Inter’s £17.7m offer falls way short of the £26.5m release clause in Dalbert’s contract. Should the deal continue to be delayed, Arsenal could move in and match the asking price to sign him.
