Arsenal finally touched down in Sydney last night and received quite the welcome.

After a long and exhausting flight, the Arsenal squad finally arrived in Sydney last night.

The players emerged from the airport and were greeted by thousands of screaming and exciting fans, many of whom would have been seeing the Arsenal players in person for the first time.

It must have been a heart-warming and humbling sight for the players to see how excited supporters are to see them, despite being thousands of miles away from the UK.

Some of the players walked on as fans held out their hands or Arsenal shirts for the players to sign. Others took the opportunity to stop and greet the fans. Some even posed for photographs.

For many of the fans, it’s a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to see the likes of Petr Cech, Laurent Koscielny, Mesut Ozil and new-boy Alexandre Lacazette, and they certainly showed their excitement.
