A Reddit user has researched which football club has the most decorated players in their squad.

The user is known as Harefield and has collected information of the players from Europe’s top-20 leagues to find out which club has the most decorated stars.

Awards included everything from u21 competitions, u18, Olympic games, lower tier League titles, but personal awards didn’t count. Among the top-20, there are clubs from 11 different leagues.

Barcelona have the most decorated squad in Europe, with a total of 301 trophies shared among their players. The most decorated player in the squad is Andres Iniesta with 35 pieces of silverware.

Real Madrid are in second place with 298, Juventus follow with 262, Bayern Munich with 252, and Benfica close the top-five with 250 trophies shared among their players.

Arsenal are ranked tenth with 151 trophies and are the lowest placed English team in the top 20. Manchester United are the best English team with 209 trophies.

The most decorated Arsenal player is Petr Cech with a total of 18 pices of silverware won. Alexis Sanchez follows in close second with 15. Mesut Ozil is ranked third in the squad with 10 trophies won in his career. Danny Welbeck is joint-fourth with eight trophies the same amount as Santi Cazorla who closes the list of top five players in Arsenal.

Dani Alves, the current player of Juventus is the most decorated player in the top-20, boasting an astonishing 37 trophies. Iniesta is placed second. Julio Cesar from Benfica is in third place.
