West Ham United and Leicester City are reportedly interested in Borussia Monchengladbach midfielder Thorgan Hazard.
- Hazard was linked with Arsenal in May
- West Ham and Leicester are interested
- Leicester could be preparing for Mahrez departure
Thorgan Hazard, the younger brother of Chelsea’s Eden Hazard, is being linked with a potential return to the Premier League as a result of his fine form at Gladbach. He scored and created 10 goals in 18 Bundesliga starts, and latest reports suggest West Ham or Leicester could procure his signature.
Arsenal were said to be interested in May but were told to pay a higher fee than they were prepared to offer. The attacking-midfielder has mostly played on the flank for Gladbach. While not as explosive as his older brother, he possesses good skill and creativity.
Leicester’s interest in him may indicate that they’re preparing for life without Riyad Mahrez, who’s been heavily linked with Arsenal. West Ham could be looking to upgrade Robert Snodgrass after his disappointing debut campaign. Gladbach are said to be wanting around £26m for the midfielder.
