Joel Campbell married his long-term girlfriend, Fernanda Mora, in a ceremony in his homeland last weekend.

Having been together for eight years, they also have a two-year-old daughter named Briana together.

Players from the national team came in support of Campbell, including Real Madrid goalkeeper Keylor Navas and Sunderland fullback Bryan Oviedo.

Campbell’s planned honeymoon is set to occur after Costa Rica’s involvement in next month’s Gold Cup tournament, which begins on July 8 with a tough fixture against Honduras.
