Kylian Mbappé is set to reject all offers for his services this summer and stay at AS Monaco, according to a French report.

A number of Europe’s best sides have been linked with the 18-year-old’s signature and among those, UEFA Champions League winners Real Madrid as well as Arsenal have made formal offers for him.

However, French newspaper Le Parisien have claimed that Mbappé has personally told the Monaco hierarchy that he wants to reject any offers for a move at present.

Although this is yet to be confirmed, it is possible that the youngster doesn’t want to jeopardise his expected involvement during next summer’s World Cup tournament in Russia by making a big-money move, risking regular playing time.

There has been a plethora of advice and comments from professionals combined speculation about Mbappé’s future after an excellent breakthrough season under Leonardo Jardim.

His presence in attack played a pivotal role as Monaco clinched their first Ligue 1 title since 2000, and Jardim has already quashed speculation about a possible move to China by extending his contract in France.

Mbappé is the club’s most expensive asset and if true, this decision makes sense.

He has already stressed the importance of playing on a regular basis wherever he does end up, and he’s definitely the type of player that Monaco can build a team around.
