Barcelona midfielder Rafinha is looking for a move to Real Madrid, while Arsenal are also believed to be in the race for his signature.

  • Rafinha wants to leave Barcelona for more first team football
  • He was linked with a move to Arsenal
  • He could be offered in part-exchange for Bellerin

According to Don Balon, Rafinha is so desperate to leave the Camp Nou he’s even contacted fierce rivals Real Madrid about a potential transfer. The Brazilian is keen for a departure this summer due to a lack of first-team football.

Given a move to Barcelona’s hated rivals Madrid looks extremely unlikely, Rafinha might be pursued by Arsenal this summer. Reports in Spain suggested the midfielder could be used to reduce the Gunners’ asking price for Hector Bellerin.

However, other reports have suggested Barcelona see the Bellerin deal as “impossible” due to Arsenal refusing to sell. That might damage any chances of Rafinha moving to the Emirates this summer unless Barcelona are willing to do a separate deal.
