Monaco have rejected a new bid for Kylian Mbappe and plan to offer him a 900% pay increase.

  • Real Madrid are said to have made an improved offer
  • Monaco have rejected a £113m offer from Madrid
  • They plan on significantly increasing Mbappe’s wages

With all the talk of where Mbappe will end up and for how much, few have considered the possibility of Mbappe staying at Monaco this summer.

Yet, that could be what happens, as Monaco are reportedly ready to offer the 18-year-old a new contract that will increase his wages by 900%.

Mbappe currently earns €18,000-per-week . The new deal would see him earn €162k, which would put him in the same bracket as Monaco’s top earner, Radamel Falcao.

Despite the offer, reports state Mbappe has made up his mind about leaving Monaco and has his heart set on moving to Real Madrid, either this summer or next.

This could be the reason behind Arsenal stepping-up their interest in Lyon’s Alexandre Lacazette.

Despite all the reports of Arsenal being confident they could sign Mbappe, a deal looks more and more unlikely.
