Marco Asensio could leave Real Madrid this summer if he does not receive more a starting role next season, putting Arsenal and a number of other clubs on alert.

  • Asensio wants to play more regularly next season
  • Arsenal, Liverpool and Juventus are interested

Despite having a breakthrough season in Spain, Asensio is believed to be concerned about how much playing time he could receive next season at Real Madrid.

According to Diario Gol, the Spaniard wants guarantees that feature heavily for Zidane’s team, as well as a new contract reflecting his importance to the team.

Asensio will reportedly not hesitate to accept offers from Arsenal, Liverpool or Juventus should his demands not be met, reports the Express.

Real Madrid will have no intention of letting Asensio go, given he’s one of the most exciting prospects in world football. But if they did, he’d have a lofty asking price.

Arsenal will be keeping tabs on the midfielder this summer but it’s unlikely the Gunners will make any progress in trying to secure his signature.
