Manchester United want to sign Roma midfielder Radja Nainggolan. Arsenal have long been keen on the Belgian but may miss out this summer.
- Arsenal were interested in signing Nainggolan last summer
- United want to strengthen their midfield
Nainggolan has been one of Roma’s best players in recent seasons and has always been linked with various clubs around Europe. According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Manchester United are the latest to attempt sign the Belgian.
Nainggolan admitted last season that he could have left Roma and cited Arsenal as one of his potential destinations. However, he’s enjoying life in Italy and doesn’t seem keen on leaving.
Nainggolan is exactly the sort of the midfielder Arsenal could do with in their engine room and should be a priority target if he’s available.
They would face stiff competition from Manchester United, who would not only be able to offer more in wages, but offer him Champions League football as well.
