Lucas Perez is expected to leave Arsenal this summer amid interest from Sevilla and is agent has delivered another update.

  • His agent has already informed Arsenal that Lucas wants to leave
  • Sevilla and Deportivo La Caruna are both interested
  • Arsenal reportedly want £12m

The Spaniard has had a difficult time at Arsenal and was confined mostly to the bench despite costing the club £17m.

Unsurprisingly, his agent, Rodrigo Fernandez Lovelle, has informed Arsenal that Lucas wants to leave the club this summer so that he can actually go play somewhere.

“The idea is to be able to play for another club. We want to leave and Arsenal already know,” he said. “Do you know anyone who is happy but has no opportunities?”

Arsenal are said to want £12m for him.

According to Diario de Sevilla, Sevilla have identified Lucas as one of their top targets this summer.

They’ve had an interest in him since he was at Deportivo La Caruna, but were unable to compete with Arsenal’s wealth.

“The key date is 3rd July when Arsenal’s preseason begins,” Lovelle told Radio Gallega.

“Anything is possible -the president of Depor can do wonders while last year I met with Sevilla, who again are interested.”

Money again could be a stumbling block in any potential deal, as Lucas would have to take a pay cut to join.

Deportivo La Caruna also have an interest but could also struggle with the financial side of the deal
