According to an exclusive on allnigeriasoccer.com, top tier sides in both the Bundesliga and Belgian Pro League have approached Arsenal about Kelechi Nwakali’s availability on loan this summer.

The talented forward, who turns 19 on Monday, impressed on-loan at MVV Maastricht in Holland’s second tier last season. Their defeat to Roda in the promotion play-offs was his final appearance of the campaign and this news is unsurprising, given how he settled in quickly and impressed in his new surroundings.

The report has suggested that his agent Olumide Olowu will hold talks with the Arsenal hierarchy this month, clarifying his future. It’s possible that he’ll go out on-loan once again and a step-up in quality would be a beneficial experience for him too.

However, Olowu’s comments during an interview last month suggest he could stay and feature in the u23s next term as one of the highly-esteemed starlets at the Academy.

We’ll be going into fresh talks with [Arsene] Wenger to know what the future holds for Nwakali. I hope the young man will return to Arsenal and continue to build his future there,” he was quoted as saying.

His Arsenal deal runs until the summer of 2021.
