New Nantes manager Claudio Ranieri has made David Ospina a top target this summer.
- Ospina could leave Arsenal for more first team football
- He was close to joining Fenerbahce before wages and fee caused the deal to collapse
- Nantes are the latest club to show interest
Ospina is expected to leave Arsenal this summer in order to find more first team football.
Ranieri, who was recently appointed manager of Ligue 1 side Nantes, has reportedly made Ospina one of his top targets.
He has plenty of competition to beat out, as there’s been no shortage of interest in the Colombian.
He was close to joining Fenerbahce, but a move broken down due to a disagreement with Arsenal over the transfer fee and Ospina over his wage demands/request.
There is also reported interest from La Liga, as well as MLS side LA Galaxy.
Ospina also hasn’t ruled out staying at Arsenal. While he’s struggled for regular first team football since arriving in 2015, he has said he’s happy at the club.
