Remember when reports claimed that Bayern Munich couldn’t afford Alexis Sanchez’s wages?
- Arsenal could sell Alexis to Man City but only on one condition
- Alexis in “advanced talks” with Bayern
- Arsene Wenger puts his foot down over Alexis and Ozil again
- Bayern prepared to pay Alexis wages they couldn’t previously afford
Bayern Munich are allegedly willing to offer Alexis £350k-per-week in wages if he signs for them this summer.
These claims come not even a month after it was rumoured that Arsenal were willing to offer the Chilean £330k-per-week, which would price out the Bundesliga giants.
Bayern are also reportedly willing to pay £40m for the 28-year-old who scored 30 goals in all competitions last season – £10m short of Arsenal’s asking price if the forward doesn’t extend his deal, which he has one year left on.
Alexis’s apparent move away from the Emirates is the talk of the town right now with Manchester City being heavily linked and Paris Saint-Germain supposedly making him a priority this summer.
I’m hoping this is just his agent attempting to scare Arsene Wenger into handing him a good deal but it’s looking less and less likely that Alexis will be at Arsenal next season.
