If Arsenal want to sign Middlesbrough defender, Ben Gibson, they’ll reportedly have to cough up £25m.

Arsenal, as well as Chelsea, Tottenham, Everton, Leicester, Southampton and Stoke, have been said to be interested in the centre-back, who newly relegated side, Middlesbrough, are keen to keep hold of this summer.

In fact, they’re so keen, they’ve reportedly slapped Gibson, who’s nephew of Steve Gibson, the club’s owner, with a £25m price tag.

Last season, the 24-year-old featured in every single one of Boro’s Premier League matches, and manager Garry Monk has spoken about his eagerness to keep Gibson. However, with so many Premier League clubs knocking at the door, will Boro resist the urge to cash in?

Gibson has four years left on his current deal.
