Brazillian winger Douglas Costa could be free to leave Bayern Munich after they confirmed the signing of former Arsenal winger Serge Gnabry.

Costa had been expected to leave Bayern Munich this summer after a dispute with the club’s hierarchy over wages. The signing of former Arsenal player Serge Gnabry appears to have made that departure even more likely.

The Brazillian winger has been linked with several sides, including Barcelona and Juventus. And according to the Express, Liverpool also have serious interest.

Arsenal are among the teams interested in signing Costa. There has been talk of the 26-year-old replacing Alexis Sanchez, who is a top target for Bayern Munich this summer.

His fallout with the club led to a considerable lack of playing time, making just 14 Bundesliga starts, scoring and creating seven goals for his troubles.

Costa was used sparingly in the late-season for Bayern and the Gunners should capitalise on his availability to strengthen their squad for a title challenge in 2017/18 as a result.
