Arsenal believe they still have a chance of signing Dortmund’s Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, according to latest reports.
- Arsenal are willing to spend big on the striker
- Aubameyang was linked with PSG, but BVB have denied bid
Arsenal are in the market for a top forward and believe they can land Dortmund’s Aubameyang despite interest from several other clubs.
Aubameyang was reportedly set to join Paris St. Germain for £61m, but Dortmund have since denied any bid for the player had been made.
Signing the player could prove difficult for Arsenal without Champions League football, although the Daily Star report Arsenal are ready to part with a large fee to sign him.
The striker scored 40 goals last season in yet another prolific season for the German club. His form has seen him linked with European Champions Real Madrid, but a move to the Spanish giants has yet to materialise.
Chelsea, Manchester United and Liverpool have also been linked with Aubameyang by various outlets.
