Arsenal sign Jordan McEneff

Republic of Ireland youth international, Jordan McEneff, has signed scholarship terms with Arsenal.

McEneff, who signed from Derry City last year, is an attacking midfielder from Coleraine, and was among the new intake of scholars at London Colney this week.

According to Jeorge Bird, the highly-rated youngster has been given the number 83 shirt, and will now be playing at an under-18 level, alongside the likes of Daniel Barden, Mark McGuinness, James Olayinka, Xavier Amaechi, Folarin Balogun, and Tyreece John-Jules.

McEneff, younger brother of Derry City midfielder Aaron, marked his debut for the Republic of Ireland u16s against Hungary in February and even scored the winner.
