Arsenal are chasing after Nice left-back Dalbert according to reports.
- Arsenal are “serious competitors” with Inter for the left-back
- Arsenal already signed a left-back this summer
- Move could spell the end of Kieran Gibbs’ time at Arsenal
Dalbert had been a target for Inter Milan, but a deal has yet to be agreed due to Nice’s asking price.
Now, according to Gianluca Di Marzio, Arsenal are “serious competitors” for the Brazilian left back.
This is a strange link as Arsenal have already signed a left back this summer in Sead Kolasinac.
The two players are of the same age, and it’d be a weird decision to bring them both in to compete with one another.
Dalbert wouldn’t be cheap either, as Nice are said to be holding out for €30m.
It’s more likely that Arsenal’s name is just being used to force Inter Milan into increasing their own bid.
If Arsenal were to bring in another left back this summer, it’d only be because of Nacho Monreal and Kieran Gibbs leaving the club.
As it is, Arsenal are well stocked there.
