Arsenal could lose young star Kaylen Hinds to Wolfsburg.
- Wolfsburg manager Andries Jonker rates Hinds highly
- Hinds could receive more first team football in Germany
- He’s rated highly at Arsenal
Hinds was rated as a top prospect in Arsenal’s academy after he made his U19s debut as a 15-year-old. Many had hopes he would be the latest academy product to break into the Arsenal first-team.
However, it seem his future could be abroad, as Wolfsburg reportedly wish to sign him for £2m, according to The Sun. Wolfsburg are managed by Arsenal’s former Head of Youth Development Andries Jonker, who joined the Bundesliga club back in February.
Jonker rates Hinds very highly and is hoping that the offer of more first-team football at Wolfsburg could entice the 19-year-old to make the switch. Hinds, a centre forward who can also play behind the striker, was loaned out to League Two side Stevenage last season and is a long way off first-team football at Arsenal as a result.
While the Gunners would be disappointed to see the player leave, the chance of more first-team action may prove too good for him to turn down.
