After ending their pursuit of Monaco striker, Kylian Mbappe, Arsenal have reportedly moved on to another French teenager: Yann Karamoh.
- Karamoh came through the ranks at Caen
- Forward scored five last season
- Arsenal among host of European clubs interested in 18-year-old
- Wenger could turn attention to Karamoh instead of Mbappe
Caen forward, Karamoh, is reportedly attracting the attention of not just Arsenal but West Ham, Inter, Fiorentina, Leipzig and, oddly enough, Monaco, after scoring five and assisting four in 35 Ligue 1 appearances last season.
The 18-year-old is a promising prospect with just a year left on his current deal with Caen, which means that the French club will either have to cash in this summer or allow him to leave for free next year. The latter of which seems unlikely.
Karamoh joined Caen’s first team in 2016 after coming through the ranks at the club.
The teenager is also already playing for France’s u21s and has been capped twice, scoring once.
