Arsenal are believed to have made an offer for Real Madrid’s Karim Benzema.

  • Benzema feels he doesn’t have the full backing of the club after blackmail scandal
  • He has offers from Arsenal, Liverpool and PSG
  • Zidane wants Benzema to stay

Diario Gol are reporting that Arsenal are one of three clubs to have made an offer for the Frenchman.

Benzema reportedly feels that he didn’t receive enough backing from president Florentino Perez after a blackmail scandal involving French team-mate Mathieu Valbuena. He also feels that his work at Madrid has gone unappreciated.

This has led to speculation that he could leave Madrid and, of course, Arsenal’s name is one of the first to come up as a potential destination.

There are Benzema stories every summer and despite him staying every time, the Spanish press seem to love linking him with a move away.

Benzema is believed to have the full backing of manager Zinedine Zidane. If Zidane wants him to stay, he will stay. He’s still a regular in the side and recently won the La Liga title and Champions League.
