Arsenal are reportedly ready to offer Monaco a whopping £131.7m (€150m) for Kylian Mbappe.

Real Madrid and Arsenal appear to be locked in a bidding war for Monaco wonderkid, Mbappe, and the latest reports from France claim that Arsene Wenger is prepared to bid €150m for the 18-year-old – €15m more than the La Liga giants’ alleged previous offer.

Considering that the highest transfer fee the Gunners have ever paid was £42.5m for Mesut Ozil back in 2013, this is quite a leap, and despite Mbappe having three years left on his deal with Monaco, the Ligue 1 side must be finding these kinds of bids, if real, hard to turn down.

Mbappe would apparently like to stay at Monaco for another season, with other reports this week claiming that the club are preparing to offer him a new deal in order to sweeten the deal.

However, if Arsenal and Real are genuinely making these kinds of offers, does he really think he’ll just be sitting on the bench for either club?
