Inter Milan reportedly have set a 24-hour deadline for Ivan Perisic, stating that the coveted winger will only be for sale until the start of July when attentions will then turn to pre-season.

As reported by the Daily Star, Manchester United, who are the closest to signing Perisic, have been told to make a bid now or risk losing him. Arsenal have been briefly linked at times and are in the market for a winger as a potential replacement for Alexis Sanchez.

The 28-year-old made 36 appearances in the Italian Sreie A, scoring 11 goals and making eight assists. Perisic is admired by United manager Jose Mourinho but will cost £44m this summer. Arsenal are likely to baulk at the price but Inter aren’t waiting around and want the team focused in July to prepare for the upcoming season.

“I’ll avoid answering on Icardi and Perisic for now. There are strong players at Inter but they have to get into the team mechanism. It must be the team that works. I want all the players who are able to donate something to their team-mates with their quality,” said new Inter Milan manager Luciano Spalletti.
