The Spanish press are claiming that Hector Bellerin is set to be announced as a Barcelona player very soon…um what?

Bellerin signed a contract extension with Arsenal in November last year, which takes him up until 2023 with the club. Therefore, while Barcelona are still apparently interested in bringing ‘their’ right-back ‘home’ to his former club, they’ve supposedly been put off by his £34m price tag.

Interestingly, however, the rumours have now taken an unusual shift, with Spanish outlet, Diario Gol, claiming that the Catalans are going to announce Bellerin as one of their own very soon.

In fact, the outlet claims that the young Spaniard is already house-hunting…

The La Liga giants are allegedly going to announce Bellerin at the same time as they reveal that Lionel Messi has extended his current deal.
