Aaron Ramsey has revealed that although Arsenal will be looking at how to ‘nullify’ Chelsea’s strength ahead of the FA Cup final on Saturday, the players will mostly be focusing on themselves.
- Ramsey’s scored five FA Cup goals in his career

- Reveals Arsenal players will focus on themselves on Saturday – not Chelsea
Rambo is no stranger to the FA Cup. The Welshman has made 29 appearances in the competition during his career, 24 of which have been for Arsenal.
Two of the midfielder’s five FA Cup goals have come just this season and, while these have been against non-league Preston North End and Lincoln City, he also had a brilliant match against Manchester City in the semi-finals.
Therefore, if there’s one player who’s definitely up for the final against Chelsea on Saturday, it’s Rambo.
Speaking ahead of the clash, the 26-year-old admitted that while the squad will be taking a look at how they can hurt the title winners, they’ll mostly be focusing on their own performances and knowing what they need to do personally to help the team on the day.
“Early on in the week we’ll probably see some clips or try to work on something on the training ground on where we can get into dangerous positions to hurt them,” Rambo told Arsenal Player.
“We’ll be working on that, and we’ll also be working on where they’re strong and how we can nullify that.
“But we’ll be focusing mostly on ourselves and how we want to play. We’ll have a chat with some of the staff for what is expected of us. We’ll all be ready and tuned in to what we’ve got to do to stop that.”
It’s not going to be easy but the most dangerous thing Chelsea can do is underestimate this Arsenal team when it’s switched on…
As they found out back in September when the Gunners beat them 3-0 at the Emirates.
