Laurent Koscielny is desperate to convince Alexis Sanchez to stay at the Emirates, saying he has the support of the whole team.

With the Chilean’s future still unknown, his teammates have come together, and while speaking on their behalf Laurent Koscielny told Sky Sports,“Firstly, he scored a lot of goals for us but his first job is not to be a striker, it is more midfield but he is an unbelievable player. He just wants to fight and have the best result for the club.

“When you have a player like this in your team, to show the way we want to grow together, it is important and I think he has a lot of players behind him to keep him.

“I don’t think there are a lot of players like him and a player like this who can be the difference during the game, it’s rare. We want to keep him with us because we know he is so important for our team.”

The reason behind this media outreach is obvious one, Alexis Sanchez lead the Gunners through this season and has become irreplaceable figure in the starting eleven.

His 28 goals in 49 appearances have drawn a lot of attention on to the player, and plenty of big clubs are very interested in making a deal.

The likes of Premier League rivals Manchester United and Manchester City, the French side Paris Saint-Germain and the German giants Bayern Munich, would be very tempting for any player, especially for success driven Alexis who wants to win and compete for top honors everywhere he goes.

With two fixtures left to play for Arsenal, a game against Everton in the league and Chelsea in the FA Cup final, Sanchez will need to shine once more as the Gunners chase the Champions League spot, and further addition of their FA Cup silverware collection.

The moment of truth is approaching, and by the looks of it, it will be very had for the Arsenal to retain their star player.
