Journalists can't help themselves at Arsene Wenger post-Chelsea press conference

Arsene Wenger was a man full of pride when he met with the press after winning his 7th FA Cup although the journalists gave him little chance to show it.

Taking Arsenal to 13 FA Cups in total – more than any other side – the manager reflected on the season, the trophy win, his ‘certainty’ that the speculation over his future affected the players for the March ‘blip’ (come on, Arsene, it wasn’t just March) and much more.

What was quite frustrating was that after a major cup final in which Arsenal had performed superbly and upset everyone’s favourites, the press spent almost 50% of the conference probing him for answers about his future that they knew he wouldn’t answer.

It was a total waste of time when they could have been asking how his side had managed to make the Champions of England look so average for the second time this season.

Watch how it all unfolded in the video above.
