As Liverpool beat Middlesbrough at Anfield on Sunday, cementing Arsenal’s place in the Europa League next season, a certain Twitter account reared its head.
A fake Europa League Twitter account (note the extra ‘u‘) tweeted a lovely welcome message to Arsenal.
This is the first time in over two decades that Arsenal won’t be playing in the Champions League and it appears that no one is willing to let that go.

Although the tweet in question isn’t real, some of the responses are hilarious.
