Arsenal’s former marketing director, Angus Kinnear, is set to join former Real Madrid director, Ivan Bravo, alongside Andrea Radrizzani on Leeds’ board.

  • Cellino to leave after ‘turbulent’ 3-years
  • Radrizzani bought 50% of holdings in January, buying other 50% by June
  • Leeds failed to make Premier League play-offs
  • Already appointed Ivan Bravo and Angus Kinnear

Italian TV mogul, Radrizzani, is set to take over Leeds United from Massimo Cellino as his three-year tenure as chairman comes to an end.

Cellino owns 50% of the club, which Radrizzani is reportedly ready to buy from him after securing the other half in January.

According to the Telegraph, who describe Cellino’s relationship with Leeds as ‘stormy’, there was an understanding that if the club failed to secure promoted to the Premier League, Radrizzani would be given the chance to take over.

Sure enough, following Leeds’ failure to make the play-offs, this is what we’re seeing happen.

Radrizzani has already apparently appointed former Real Madrid director Ivan Bravo, and ex-Arsenal marketing director and former West Ham managing director, Angus Kinnear.
