Lucas has been linked with a move back to his former club, Deportivo, as well as Espanyol, Betis and Sevilla.
However, the latest club reportedly interested in the 28-year-old is Fenerbahce. In fact, the Turkish club are apparently willing to buy him rather than just take him on loan.
The forward is set to sit down and have a talk with Arsenal this summer about his future. Lucas is unhappy with his lack of playing time, despite missing 82 days in total through injury.
During his 21 appearances for Arsenal this season, he’s still managed eight goals and six assists in just over 1000 minutes, which is pretty impressive. If the club can keep him fit next season, he could be a great squad player.
If Arsenal can reassure him that he is wanted, Fenerbahce are going to have to look elsewhere.
The Turkish side are reportedly lining up Aston Villa star, Jonathan Kodjia, who’s scored 19 Championship goals in 26 appearances this season.
