With recent reports of Antoine Griezmann finally agreeing terms with Manchester United, Atletico Madrid would have plenty of cash to bolster their squad and the same reports claim they want to use it to buy Alexis Sanchez.

Apparently, Diego Simeone is preparing to invest heavily in attacking options.

Alexandre Lacazette and Alexis Sanchez appear to be on top of Simeone’s wishlist and the Griezmann deal should bring in just enough cash for both transfers.

Atletico Madrid would have very serious competition in signing the Chilean star with Bayern Munich reportedly already in contact with the players agent about the terms of his contract.

Alexis Sanchez still hasn’t extended his contract with Arsenal, and the reports about him leaving the Gunners are coming from all sides.

The 28-year-old is desperate to win major trophies, something Arsenal don’t look like they’ll be winning in any time soon, and with Atletico Madrid and Bayern Munich in pursuit, it may be very hard for Arsene Wenger to convince him to stay.

With Diego Simeone also interested in Alexandre Lacazette, Arsenal may not only lose Alexis Sanchez but also a player they were keen to sign this summer, however Alexis’s wages are likely to prove a major stumbling block for the Spaniards.
