Arsene Wenger has pretty much confirmed that he will be Arsenal manager next season.
- Wenger linked with two-year deal
- Arsenal fail to get Champions League football next season
- Manager convinced that not a lot needs to change
- Wants to keep current squad together
Following Arsenal’s 3-1 win over Everton, Wenger spoke about how he wants to bring in ‘one or two’ players over the summer, while insisting that not a lot has to be done.
He also reiterated how much he loves Arsenal Football Club, and very much made it sound as if he’s going to be in charge next season, which most of us expected anyway.
Wenger on this summer: "We want to keep the team together & find one or two more players who strengthen the team. But we don't need a lot."

Wenger on Arsenal: "I have said 'no' to every club in the world to stay here with very limited financial resources."

Arsenal finish the 2016/17 league in fifth place – the lowest they’ve finished since Wenger took over in 1996.
If he’s going to stay, some changes need to be made, and I fear that just signing ‘one or two’ more players won’t quite cut it.
However, actions speak louder than words, and I sincerely hope Le Professeur proves me wrong.
