Arsenal are reportedly interested in signing Juventus midfielder, Mario Lemina.
- Liverpool interested in Lemina before his move to Juve
- Lemina has made just 15 starts since signing from Marseille in 2015
- Wenger makes central midfielder a priority
- Arsenal ready to pay £20m for 23-year-old
According to the Evening Standard, Arsenal are in the market for another central midfielder and, while Lemina only signed for Juventus from Marseille in 2015, he’s supposedly being viewed as a huge prospect.
His playing style has even been liked to Manchester United’s record signing, Paul Pogba.
Lemina has appeared 27 times over all competitions for Juve this season, scoring a goal and also assisting once.
The 23-year-old has three years left on his current deal in Italy and while Roma and Schalke are both said to be interested, Arsene Wenger is allegedly very keen and willing to pay the £20m Juve want.
Arsenal were linked with Lemina last year and while Juve claimed they weren’t going to sell him then, they apparently are now…
If Wenger is interested, he seems like more of a replacement for Jack Wilshere or Francis Coquelin than a first team player.
