The second North London Derby of the season kicks off on Sunday afternoon and for once the Gunners are the clear underdogs.

It’s been a tough season for Arsenal, not only have they been performing pretty terribly and have a club that’s shrouded in uncertainty, but their bitter rivals are about to finish above them in the league for the first time since 1995.

Alderweireld believes that this will be extra motivation going into the match at the weekend.

“It is a massive game,” the defender acknowledged.

“We are going to try and win at the Lane. It is going to be a special day and it is up to us to get three points.

“Beating Arsenal to finish above them is extra motivation but you do not need extra motivation on Sunday.”

Out of the 48 times Wenger has faced Spurs, they’ve only one seven times.
